Griffon is a free software that began in early 2000 with a simple idea, help writers in writing BASH scripts that are very strict in their syntax.
Basically, Griffon was a simple text editor with the ability to inject complete blocks of code commonly used, and thus avoid the copy and paste, or search code already written to put in a new script. Subsequently, the sources of the editor Tea has been modified to integrate the various elements of Griffon editor, who has become a small IDE.
